The Securities Industry Development Corporation (SIDC) is the training and development arm of the Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) and the leading capital markets education, training and information resource provider in ASEAN.

For your information, the SC recently launched the InvestSmart initiative on June 19, 2014. It is an initiative to empower investors and make them capable of making intelligent and informed investment decisions. For retail investors, the “InvestSmart Roadshow Series" is one of the programmes under this initiative. This seminar aims to develop interest and increase investor sophistication in stock market and unit trust investing.

· apply various investment strategies in the secondary market;

· explain about various investment products in Bursa Malaysia; and

· build their own equity investment portfolio.

For your information, this seminar is FREE and refreshments will be provided. This seminar will be conducted in English and is targeted at potential and existing unit trust/ PRS/ stock market investors. The participants will also receive a certificate of participation and a souvenir.
